Audit my page
01 / Pillar 02

A keyword research tool that ends in a plan, not a spreadsheet

Every keyword research tool can dump ten thousand rows. The expensive part is what happens next: someone has to cluster them, judge intent, pick targets and turn targets into briefs. Seomake's research pillar does that whole stretch, because it feeds a loop that ends in published pages, not in a saved filter.

02 / What it does

From seed to prioritized plan

Clusters by intent

Queries are grouped into tight topics and tagged informational, commercial or transactional, so a listicle keyword never gets pointed at your pricing page.

Scores the opportunity

Volume, difficulty and your site's existing authority on the topic combine into one winnability score, so you spend effort where a page can actually move.

Maps to your site

Each cluster is matched to the page that should own it, or flagged as a gap. Gaps go straight to the AI content pillar as ready briefs.

03 / The difference

Research that remembers why it ran

In a standalone tool, keyword research is a report you export and slowly forget. Here it is the first step of the find, fix, publish, track loop: every chosen keyword becomes a brief, every brief becomes a draft in the AI content generator for SEO, and every published page is watched by the rank tracker for the keyword it was born from.

Six weeks later you do not have a spreadsheet. You have rankings with a paper trail. That handoff from cluster to brief to published draft is described step by step in the AI SEO content workflow, and if you are still assembling a stack, the best SEO tools roundup covers where a research tool alone stops being enough.

04 / If you came from Searchmetrics

Searchmetrics keyword research: where it went, and what does that job now

Searchmetrics keyword research is no longer available as a product. Conductor acquired Searchmetrics in a deal that closed on 2 February 2023, merged the platforms, and retired the brand. Visiting searchmetrics.com today returns a 301 redirect to conductor.com, and Conductor publishes no list prices at all.

The part former users miss is rarely the keyword database itself, which several vendors match. It is SEO Visibility, the proprietary index Searchmetrics built from the positions a domain held weighted by the search volume of those keywords. It was close to an industry standard in Germany and nothing inherited it, so historical trend lines built on that score cannot be reconstructed anywhere. Sistrix Visibility Index is the nearest surviving equivalent, and it is a different number rather than a continuation.

For the research work itself, the sensible replacements depend on scale. An enterprise team that used Searchmetrics for reporting across many domains is looking at Conductor, which is the direct continuation. A normal sized site was almost certainly paying enterprise money for something Ahrefs or Semrush covers at $129 to $139 a month. The job-by-job breakdown, including what Searchmetrics actually cost and why every price you find quoted for it is unverifiable, is on the Searchmetrics alternative page, and the full timeline of the acquisition is in what happened to Searchmetrics.

To be straight about our own position: Seomake is not a Searchmetrics replacement. We carry no keyword database and no visibility index. What runs today is the on-page audit below, which reads a live page against the keyword it should own and writes the corrected title, meta and headings. If you need the research suite, buy one of the above and use us for the part they hand back to you.

The same AI already audits pages, live

The homepage demo runs a real on-page audit against any keyword you give it, including how well the page matches the keyword's intent. It is the closest you can get to the research pillar before launch.

Keyword research that finishes the job

Start with one page and one keyword. The research pillar charts the rest of the map once the site is connected.
