01 / Refunds

Refund policy

Applies to every SEOMake subscription bought from October 14, 2026. It forms part of our terms of service.

Our position on refunds

SEOMake keeps subscription payments once they are collected. Three billing situations, described in the next section, are the whole list of exceptions. Before buying you can run the one time AI audit on a real page of yours, read every plan on the pricing page, and later stop renewal on the billing page yourself.

Three cases that qualify

Each case is checked against our logs, and a refund never goes beyond the charge it concerns.

  • Billed twice. One period was paid for two times because of a fault in our billing.
  • Somebody else used your card. SEOMake was bought with your card without your say so, the report reaches us inside 14 days, and the account history and payment trail support it. A bare assertion does not settle it, and we can ask for the reference of the fraud claim at your bank.
  • A total outage. The whole product was unusable for an unbroken period because of a fault we confirmed on our side, you flagged it during the outage, and we did not bring it back. A slow crawl, one report that failed, or problems with your browser, network or website are not included.

Money goes back only to the card that paid, never above the amount for the affected period, and that closes our liability for the charge. A refund does not open the way to a second one.

How plans are priced

You buy a month or a year of the software, with the site and feature limits set out on the pricing page. Nothing is sold as credits and nothing is counted per audit: the fee is for access during the period, not for pages crawled. Every plan opens completely on the first day, whether you check one site that month or fifty.

Subscribing is a request that we start right away, and you accept that any statutory withdrawal or cooling-off right lapses once the service is running.

Not a reason for a refund

  • Positions, clicks or sales did not improve as fast as you wanted. Search engines, rival sites and your own pages all shape results, not only our suggested fixes.
  • You do not agree with an AI suggestion, a page score or a generated title or meta description.
  • The site blocked our crawler, required a login, or moved to another platform, so audits could not run.
  • Work on the site stopped, the client the plan was for left, or you changed your mind.
  • No audits were run for part or all of a paid period.
  • A renewal cleared, even after an earlier decline.
  • You read the plan as a one off purchase, although pricing, checkout, the receipt and the billing page each mention automatic renewal.
  • Cancellation came too late for the renewal date, or right after it.
  • A larger plan or a longer term than you ended up needing.
  • Remaining days after cancelling, which stay available to the end of the period and are never pro-rated.
  • A feature you hoped for that the pricing page does not mention.
  • Account activity by a colleague or anyone else with your login.

Ending renewal and missed payments

Every plan renews on its own. One click on the billing page cancels it, no email required. From then on nothing renews, all features stay on until the paid period runs out, and cancelling is not taken as a refund request.

A new period is due the moment it starts, since access begins then. If your card is declined, the invoice remains open and is tried again over the following days, as repeat attempts on that one invoice rather than fresh charges. Cancelling with an invoice still open stops the periods after it, not the open one, and a renewal collected this way stays paid. Cancel before the date on the billing page to skip the next renewal.

Making a request

Email [email protected] from the address registered to your SEOMake login, within two weeks of the charge, and name the date, the amount and the exception that applies. We ignore requests that come in later or by another route. Replies follow arrival order with no fixed timeline, and a refusal stands.

Taking the charge to your bank before contacting us is a breach of our terms of service, after which the SEOMake account is closed for good.

The records behind our decisions

When you register you agree to our terms of service, including this policy, and to our privacy policy. Nothing is charged until the checkout has shown you which plan, what price, how long a term and that it renews automatically, and both the receipt and billing page restate them.

Per subscription we keep when it was bought, the plan and amount on screen, the moment you agreed to the terms, our emails to you, and a log of account events like sign-ins, sites added, audits run and fixes applied, each with its technical metadata. The payment processor keeps a separate trail per charge, covering the issuing country, the payment origin and the 3D Secure result. Unauthorised charge claims are decided on these records, which we pass to the card issuer if a chargeback is opened.

Older subscriptions

For anything bought before October 14, 2026, the refund wording published on SEOMake that day continues to apply.
