Best AI SEO plugin for WordPress agencies priced per client site at 10, 25 and 50 sites
For a WordPress agency, the best AI SEO plugin on cost is SEOPress PRO unlimited or Rank Math Business, at roughly $150 to $565 a year for every client site combined once AI is added. Yoast SEO Premium includes AI but charges $118.80 per site, which is $2,970 a year at 25 sites. AIOSEO sits between them, then doubles at renewal.
Every figure below was read on the vendors' own pricing pages on 7 October 2026 from a US connection, at the renewal price, because that is what an agency pays from year two. The pages ranking for this question list first-year prices and stop. None of them adds the AI subscription to the license or works out the bill at 10, 25 and 50 client sites, which is the number an agency actually budgets.
One caution before the table. The AI in all four plugins does the same narrow job: it writes a title or meta description when someone opens a post and asks. If you want to see what a rewrite built from an audit of a live page looks like instead, paste one client page and its keyword here. No account needed.
AI SEO plugin cost for 10, 25 and 50 client sites
Yearly renewal prices, ex tax. Rank Math prints the same numerals in dollars or euros depending on where it places you, so its figures are shown bare.
| Plugin and plan | 10 sites | 25 sites | 50 sites | AI writing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yoast SEO Premium | $1,188 | $2,970 | $5,940 | Yes, AI titles and meta |
| AIOSEO (Pro, then Elite) | $399 | $599 | $599 | Credits included |
| Rank Math Business | 335.88 | 335.88 | 335.88 | No, Content AI extra |
| Rank Math Business plus Content AI Expert | 563.76 | 563.76 | 563.76 | Yes, with monthly limits |
| SEOPress PRO unlimited plus AI Pro credits | $497 | $497 | $497 | Yes, on credits |
How the rows are built. Yoast is $118.80 times the site count, with no multi-site license. AIOSEO Pro covers 10 sites at $399 on renewal ($199.50 in year one); 25 and 50 sites need Elite, which covers 100 for $599 on renewal ($299.50 in year one). Rank Math PRO excludes client websites, so agencies need Business, which covers 100 client sites and renews at 335.88; Content AI is a separate plan, and Expert renews at 227.88 a year. SEOPress PRO unlimited is $149 and renews at the same price; its AI Pro credit plan is $29 a month, or you can connect your own AI provider and pay that provider instead.
Which AI SEO plugin wins at each agency size
Yearly renewal cost at 25 client sites, AI included
List prices read 7 October 2026, renewal year, ex tax. Yoast offers an unpublished bulk discount on request.
Under five sites, Yoast Premium is a fair buy. AI is included with nothing to meter, the readability analysis is the one clients and writers know, and five sites is $594 a year.
Ten to 25 sites is where the per-site price starts to hurt. Rank Math Business plus Content AI and SEOPress unlimited plus AI credits both land near $500 to $565 a year in total, against $1,188 to $2,970 on Yoast. AIOSEO is the cheapest in year one and the most surprising at renewal, when every tier doubles.
Fifty sites and up, the licenses barely move and the question becomes AI usage. Rank Math splits Content AI usage across sites by percentage on Business and Agency licenses, so 50 sites share one monthly allowance. SEOPress with your own AI key has no shared cap, only your provider bill. Plan details for each are on our Rank Math pricing and SEOPress pricing pages.
The license is rarely the biggest line once a client portfolio grows. Hosting, staging and deploys for 50 WordPress sites usually cost more, and a tool that provisions servers and deploys sites with zero downtime tends to save more agency hours than any plugin switch.
What the plugin AI does not do for an agency
All four plugins put the AI inside the post editor. Someone opens a post, clicks generate, reads the suggestion and saves. That is fine for new posts. It does nothing about the question an agency is paid to answer each month: which of this client's 200 live pages are close to page one, and what exactly should change on each.
The plugin cannot see rankings for the post you have open, does not compare the page with what ranks for its keyword, and does not tell you that the real problem is an essay where page one shows comparison tables. So the account manager still pulls Search Console, picks pages, and opens them one by one. The AI saves the typing, not the thinking.
Where SEOMake fits next to the plugin you keep
SEOMake is not a plugin and does not replace one. It audits a live client page against its keyword, scores it, shows the evidence for each issue and writes the corrected title, meta description, outline and opening, plus a 400 to 700 word draft of missing sections on paid plans. When the client or your lead approves the fix, SEOMake writes the title and meta into the Yoast SEO or Rank Math fields through the WordPress REST API, reads back what WordPress stored, and keeps the old values for one-click undo.
That changes the license math in one specific way. The SEO title and meta description fields are part of the free versions of Yoast SEO and Rank Math, and those are the fields SEOMake writes to. A client site that only needed Premium for the AI button can stay on the free plugin, with the rewrite coming from the audit instead. The setup, a six-line snippet and an application password per site, is on our AI SEO tools for WordPress page.
Plans are $49 a month for 20 drafted fixes, $149 for 100 and $499 for 500, or ten months' price for a year, and audits are not tied to a site count. Agencies running monthly on-page work usually land on Growth. The rest of the agency stack is priced on SEO software for agencies, and plan details are on SEOMake pricing.
Questions agencies ask before picking an AI SEO plugin
What is the best AI SEO plugin for WordPress?
For a single site, Yoast SEO Premium is the simplest because AI titles and meta descriptions are included at $118.80 a year. For agencies, the per-site price makes Yoast the most expensive option from about five sites up, and Rank Math Business or SEOPress unlimited plus an AI plan cost far less across 25 or 50 client sites.
Which SEO plugin is best for agencies?
On cost, SEOPress PRO at $149 a year for unlimited sites, renewing at the same price, and Rank Math Business at 335.88 a year for 100 client sites. AIOSEO Elite covers 100 sites for $299.50 in year one and $599 after. Yoast has no multi-site license and charges per site.
Is Rank Math or Yoast better for agencies?
Rank Math is cheaper for agencies because one Business license covers 100 client sites, while Yoast charges $118.80 for each site. Yoast includes its AI features in Premium; Rank Math sells Content AI separately with monthly use limits. Teams that value Yoast's readability analysis often keep it on a few flagship sites only.
How much does Yoast SEO Premium cost for multiple sites?
Yoast sells one subscription per site, so it is $118.80 a year multiplied by the number of sites, ex tax: $1,188 for 10, $2,970 for 25 and $5,940 for 50. Yoast says bulk purchases get a discount but does not publish the rate, so ask for a quote above ten sites.
Can I use Rank Math PRO on client websites?
No. Rank Math's pricing page says PRO is for unlimited websites that you own and that client websites are excluded. Client work needs the Business license, which covers 100 client websites, or Agency for 500. Content AI is a separate subscription on top of either.
Prices were read on 7 October 2026 from each vendor's published pricing, Rank Math Content AI on 27 September 2026. Renewal prices are shown because they apply from year two. Vendor prices change without notice, so confirm with the vendor before you buy.
