Rank Math PRO vs Yoast SEO Premium pricing per site, the yearly bill for 1, 5 and 25 websites

On one website, Rank Math PRO and Yoast SEO Premium cost almost the same: 107.88 a year against $118.80. On several websites you own, Rank Math wins by a mile, because one PRO plan covers unlimited own sites while Yoast charges per site, so five sites are 107.88 against $594. Client sites change the math: Rank Math requires Business at 335.88.

We read both pricing pages from US servers on 1 October 2026. The comparisons on page one for this query are mostly feature tours, and the ones that quote prices use figures neither vendor shows today, such as Rank Math PRO at $6.99 a month or Yoast at $99. We sell an on-page SEO tool, not a WordPress plugin, so we have no stake in which you pick.

If you are shopping for a plugin because pages that already score green still sit on page two, a different plugin will not fix that. Check one of those pages against its query first. It takes about a minute and needs no account.

How Rank Math PRO and Yoast SEO Premium charge

The two plugins price on different units, which is why a single headline number misleads in both directions.

Rank Math quotes a monthly rate, 7.99 in the first year and 8.99 after, but bills it once a year. The pricing page stores each figure in both dollars and euros with the same numbers and shows one symbol depending on where it places your connection, so check the symbol at checkout. Yoast shows US dollars, excluding tax, and the price does not step up after year one.

Yoast's unit is the site. One subscription covers one site or domain, and Yoast says bulk purchases get a discount without publishing it. Rank Math's unit is ownership. PRO has no site cap for your own properties and does not allow client sites at all. Every plan detail, including Business and Agency, is on our Rank Math pricing page.

Rank Math PRO vs Yoast SEO Premium pricing at 1, 3, 5 and 25 sites

All figures below are the yearly price from the second year on. For client sites, the Rank Math column switches to Business, the cheapest plan that allows them.

Yearly renewal cost of Rank Math PRO or Business against Yoast SEO Premium for 1, 3, 5 and 25 own sites and 5 and 25 client sites
Websites Rank Math Yoast SEO Premium Cheaper
1 site you own 107.88 $118.80 About even
3 sites you own 107.88 $356.40 Rank Math by about 3x
5 sites you own 107.88 $594.00 Rank Math by about 5x
25 sites you own 107.88 $2,970.00 Rank Math by about 27x
5 client sites 335.88 (Business) $594.00 Rank Math by about 1.8x
25 client sites 335.88 (Business) $2,970.00 Rank Math by about 9x

The single-site row is the only close call. If you are billed in euros, the conversion and any foreign transaction fee on your card can close the eleven-dollar gap entirely. From the second site on, Rank Math PRO is cheaper by more than the full price of a Yoast subscription every year.

What the extra money buys on each side

Price per site is half the decision. The other half is what you would otherwise pay for separately.

Rank Math PRO includes a rank tracker for 500 keywords with position history, daily Google data in the dashboard kept for 180 days, Local SEO PRO, the WooCommerce SEO PRO module and the advanced schema generator. Yoast Premium has no rank tracker, so a Yoast site that needs positions needs a second tool. For a store, Yoast's equivalent of the WooCommerce module is a different product, Yoast WooCommerce SEO at $178.80 a year per site.

Yoast Premium includes its AI tools for titles, meta descriptions and content in the $118.80, along with the redirect manager, internal linking suggestions, analysis for up to five keyphrases, and the Local, Video and News SEO plugins it folded into Premium in July 2025. Rank Math sells AI as a separate yearly subscription, Rank Math AI, so if AI-written metadata is the main reason you are upgrading, add that plan to the Rank Math side before comparing. Those plans are priced on our Rank Math Content AI alternative page, and the full Yoast ladder with WooCommerce SEO and AI+ is on our Yoast SEO Premium price page.

When Yoast SEO Premium is the better buy

Pick Yoast if you run exactly one site, want AI titles and meta descriptions without a second subscription, and would rather pay in dollars at a price that does not step up after the first year. It also suits a team that already works in Yoast across a few sites and values predictable per-site budgeting over the lowest total.

When Rank Math PRO is the better buy

Pick Rank Math PRO if you own several sites, a portfolio of blogs, a store plus a content site, or brands that each have their own domain. One plan covers all of them, and rank tracking comes with it. Freelancers should read the client clause before buying: the cheapest Rank Math plan for client work is Business at 335.88 a year, and at that point it is worth pricing SEOPress beside it, which we did in SEOPress vs Rank Math pricing for agencies.

Whichever you choose, license renewals for plugins bought by different people tend to arrive in whichever mailbox paid for them, and that is how a lapsed subscription goes unnoticed until updates stop. If your team runs several shared addresses, it helps to read every mailbox in one place so renewal notices do not slip past.

What neither plugin does for a page stuck on page two

Rank Math and Yoast both grade a post against the keyword you type in: is it in the title, the first paragraph, the URL, is the meta description the right length. A page can pass every check in either plugin and still rank 14th, because neither looks at the pages ranking above it.

SEOMake makes that comparison. Paste a URL and the query it should rank for, and it scores the page against the query, lists every issue with the evidence it found, and writes the corrected title, meta description, heading outline and opening paragraph, with a 400 to 700 word draft on paid plans. You paste the result into whichever plugin you use. Plans start at $49 a month with unlimited page audits and no per-site license; see SEOMake pricing.

Rank Math PRO vs Yoast SEO Premium pricing questions buyers ask

Is Rank Math PRO cheaper than Yoast SEO Premium?

On more than one site, yes. Rank Math PRO renews at 107.88 a year for unlimited sites you own, while Yoast SEO Premium is $118.80 a year for each site. On a single site they are within about eleven dollars of each other. For client sites Rank Math moves to Business at 335.88, which still beats Yoast from the third site on.

Does Yoast SEO Premium cover multiple sites?

No. Yoast says one subscription covers one site or domain, so five sites need five subscriptions, $594 a year at list price. Yoast also says bulk purchases qualify for a discount, but it does not publish the rate, so ask for a quote before renewing more than a handful. You can move a subscription between sites in MyYoast.

Does Rank Math PRO work on client websites?

No. The Rank Math pricing page says PRO covers unlimited websites that you own and that client websites are excluded. Client work starts on Business, which renews at 335.88 a year for up to 100 client sites. Yoast draws no own-versus-client line; it simply charges per site.

Which has better AI features, Rank Math PRO or Yoast SEO Premium?

Yoast Premium includes its AI title, meta description and content tools in the $118.80 price. Rank Math sells AI separately as Rank Math AI, with its own yearly plans and credit allowances, so the like-for-like Rank Math cost is PRO plus an AI plan. If AI-written metadata is the reason you are upgrading, Yoast is the simpler bill on one site.

Can I switch from Yoast SEO Premium to Rank Math PRO?

Yes. Rank Math has an importer for Yoast settings, titles, meta descriptions, focus keywords and redirects. Run it on a staging copy first, then spot-check your highest-traffic pages and redirects before you switch production and let the Yoast subscriptions lapse at their renewal dates.

Rank Math prices were read from rankmath.com/pricing and Yoast prices from yoast.com on 1 October 2026, both from United States servers and both excluding tax. Vendor prices change without notice, so trust the checkout over this page.
