SEOPress vs Rank Math pricing for agencies, the yearly bill for 5, 25 and 100 client sites
For client work, SEOPress is the cheaper plugin by a wide margin: $149 a year covers unlimited sites, while Rank Math's cheapest plan that allows client sites, Business, renews at EUR 335.88. The picture flips when every client gets a ranking report, because Rank Math Business includes 10,000 tracked keywords and SEOPress charges $99 per site for rank tracking.
We read both pricing pages from a United States connection on 30 September 2026. Most comparisons on page one quote Rank Math PRO at $59 and Business at $199, or give prices in pounds. Neither matches what rankmath.com shows today, and none of them mentions the clause that decides the bill for an agency. We sell an on-page SEO tool, not a WordPress plugin, so we have no stake in which one you choose.
If you are comparing plugins because client pages score well and still sit on page two, a new plugin will not move them. Check one of those pages against its query first. It takes about a minute and needs no account.
The clause that decides the price for agencies
Rank Math PRO looks like the obvious deal: EUR 7.99 a month in year one, EUR 8.99 a month after that, billed once a year, on unlimited websites. The next line on the plan card reads "Use Rank Math PRO on unlimited websites that you own. Client websites are excluded."
Rank Math PRO
EUR 107.88/yr at renewal
Unlimited sites you own
Client websites excluded
SEOPress PRO, unlimited
$149/yr, locked
Unlimited sites, sold by count
White label on every license
So a freelancer with five client sites cannot use PRO for them. The first Rank Math plan that covers client sites is Business, EUR 24.99 a month for the first year and EUR 27.99 a month at renewal, which is EUR 335.88 a year for up to 100 client sites. Agency covers 500 client sites at EUR 779.88 a year on renewal.
SEOPress sells by site count and nothing else: 1 site for $49, 5 for $59, unlimited for $149 a year. Its pricing page draws no line between your sites and client sites, white label is included on every license, and the price you pay is the price you renew at for as long as auto renewal stays on. The full SEOPress ladder, with AI Credits and the feature list, is on our SEOPress pricing page.
SEOPress vs Rank Math pricing at 5, 10, 25, 100 and 150 client sites
All figures are renewal prices, because that is what stays on the budget. The middle column adds SEOPress Insights, the separate $99-per-site plugin that does rank and backlink tracking, to every site. Rank Math stays in euros because that is what its pricing page showed our US servers; it stores the same numbers in dollars and picks the symbol by location.
| Client sites | SEOPress PRO | SEOPress PRO plus Insights on every site | Rank Math, rank tracking included |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 client sites | $59 | $554 | EUR 335.88 (Business) |
| 10 client sites | $149 | $1,139 | EUR 335.88 (Business) |
| 25 client sites | $149 | $2,624 | EUR 335.88 (Business) |
| 100 client sites | $149 | $10,049 | EUR 335.88 (Business) |
| 150 client sites | $149 | $14,999 | EUR 779.88 (Agency) |
Read the first and last columns together and SEOPress wins everywhere, by more than half at every size. Read the middle column and the answer flips at about three or four tracked sites, the exact point depending on the euro rate your card uses that day. Past that, every client that needs a ranking report is cheaper to serve on Rank Math Business.
Which agencies should pick SEOPress
SEOPress fits an agency whose retainers are mostly build and maintain work: new sites, care plans, technical fixes, with rankings reported for a handful of clients at most. You pay $149 once, put every client on it, and add Insights only to the two or three sites whose owners pay for ranking reports. The price lock matters here as well. A plugin cost you pass through to forty clients should not change every year.
Whichever plugin you choose, write the pass-through license cost into each client's maintenance agreement. If you run dozens of retainers, contract management software that flags renewal dates keeps a price change at the plugin vendor from turning into a billing dispute with a client.
Which agencies should pick Rank Math
Rank Math Business fits an agency where every retainer includes a monthly ranking report. EUR 335.88 a year covers 100 client sites and 10,000 tracked keywords, which is 100 keywords per client if you spread them evenly. Buying the same coverage on SEOPress would mean Insights on every site, and at 100 sites that is $9,900 a year before the license.
Two costs to plan for. Rank Math's first-year price is a launch discount, so budget on the renewal figure, which runs about 12% higher. And if Rank Math bills you in euros, which it did for our US servers, a US agency pays whatever its card issuer charges for the conversion, sometimes with a foreign transaction fee on top. Every Rank Math tier, with the renewal step for each, is on our Rank Math pricing page. Rank Math's separate Content AI plans are covered on our Rank Math Content AI alternative page.
How SEOPress and Rank Math compare with Yoast and AIOSEO
Both undercut the other two big plugins for multi-site work. Yoast SEO Premium is $118.80 a year per site, so ten sites cost $1,188. AIOSEO sells bundles that double after the first year, $399 for 10 sites on Pro and $599 for 100 on Elite. The full renewal math for those two is in our AIOSEO vs Yoast pricing breakdown.
What neither plugin does for a client page
SEOPress and Rank Math both score a post against the target keyword you type in: keyword in the title, in the first paragraph, meta length, readability. A client page can score well in either and still rank on page two, because the score never looks at the pages ranking above it.
SEOMake does that one comparison. Paste a URL and the keyword it should rank for, and it scores the page against the query, lists every issue with the evidence it found, and writes the corrected title, meta description, heading outline and opening paragraph, with a 400 to 700 word draft on paid plans. There is no per-site license and page audits are unlimited, so one plan covers every client. See our SEO software for agencies comparison for the rest of the stack.
SEOPress vs Rank Math pricing questions buyers ask
Is SEOPress cheaper than Rank Math?
Yes for the plugin license. SEOPress PRO covers unlimited sites for $149 a year, while Rank Math Business, the cheapest Rank Math plan allowed on client sites, renews at EUR 335.88 a year. Rank Math becomes the cheaper option once you want rank tracking on more than a few client sites, because SEOPress sells it separately at $99 per site.
Can I use Rank Math PRO on client sites?
No. The Rank Math pricing page says PRO covers unlimited websites that you own and that client websites are excluded. Client work starts on Business, which covers 100 client sites, and Agency covers 500. SEOPress does not draw that line on its pricing page; its licenses are sold purely by site count.
Does Rank Math charge in euros?
It can. The Rank Math pricing page stores every plan in US dollars and in euros with identical numbers, excluding VAT, and picks the symbol by where it places your connection. Our US servers were shown euros. If you are billed in euros, your card issuer converts at its own rate and may add a foreign transaction fee. SEOPress shows US dollars by default with a euro toggle, at the same numbers in both currencies.
Which is better for agencies, SEOPress or Rank Math?
SEOPress if you manage many client sites and sell rank reports to only a few of them, since $149 covers every site and the price is locked at renewal. Rank Math Business if every client retainer includes ranking reports, since 10,000 tracked keywords across 100 client sites are included in the plan.
Can I switch from Rank Math to SEOPress?
Yes. SEOPress lists Rank Math among the plugins its importer migrates metadata from, alongside Yoast and All in One SEO. Run the import on a staging copy, then spot-check titles, meta descriptions and redirects on your highest-traffic pages before switching production, because custom schema rarely maps one to one.
SEOPress prices were read from seopress.org/pricing and Rank Math prices from rankmath.com/pricing on 30 September 2026, both from a United States connection. Both vendors list prices excluding VAT. Vendor prices change without notice, so trust the checkout over this page.
