Conductor SEO pricing, the Conductor SEO platform tiers, and what an enterprise AEO contract actually costs
Conductor publishes a full quota grid for all three tiers and not a single dollar amount. Here is the whole grid read off conductor.com on 29 August 2026, what independent buyer data says contracts actually close at, and the one line missing from the entry tier that changes the decision.
Conductor does not publish a price, and the buyer data puts contracts near $49,500 a year
Conductor sells three tiers, Essentials, Growth and Enterprise, with published quotas on every line and no price on any of them. The only public dollar figures come from buyer datasets rather than from Conductor: Vendr reports an average Conductor contract value of $49,510 a year and an observed range of $40,446 to $93,338, last updated February 2026. Only the entry tier has a self-serve path at all. Growth routes to a demo request and Enterprise to a sales conversation.
The detail worth the whole page is what Essentials leaves out. Conductor calls itself the number one platform for enterprise AEO, and its entry tier lists no AI Search Credits whatsoever. AI Search Credits first appear on Growth at 2,500 a year. So the cheapest tier of the self-described only unified platform for enterprise answer engine optimization is the one tier that does not include the answer engine data. That is the same shape as Semrush's entry plan, which also strips AI visibility out of the bottom tier, and it is worth knowing before a demo rather than after.
For scale, Essentials tracks 500 keywords across 3 websites. Semrush sells 500 tracked keywords across 5 websites for a published $139 a month, on a card, with no call. If a Conductor quote for Essentials comes back materially above that, the difference is buying governance, onboarding, reporting controls and a support contract rather than more data.
Tier quotas read off conductor.com/pricing on 29 August 2026. Contract figures are Vendr's, attributed in full below.
The Conductor SEO platform tiers, transcribed rather than summarized
This is the pricing page grid as it stands, with Conductor's own numbers and its own CTA wording. Where Conductor marks a line as custom or does not show it at all, we say so rather than estimating. Capacity roughly tenfolds at each step, which tells you these tiers are sized by company rather than by feature appetite.
| Published line | Essentials | Growth | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Tracked keywords | 500 | 5,000 | 60,000+ |
| Pages analyzed | 1,000 | 25,000 | 125,000+ |
| Tracked websites | 3 | Not published | Not published |
| Tracked competitors | 5 | 25 | 75+ |
| Pages monitored | 100,000 | 500,000 | Custom |
| Writing Assistant drafts | 60 per year | 180 per year | 600 per year |
| AI Search Credits | None listed | 2,500 per year | 2,500+ per year |
| Billing frequency | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Contract length | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Included seats | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| How you buy | Try for Free | Request a Demo | Contact Sales |
Two things are missing from that grid that a buyer needs. There is no billing frequency and no contract length anywhere on the page, which in practice means an annual or multi-year agreement negotiated per account rather than a subscription you can stop next month. And there is no seat count on any tier, so user licensing is part of the negotiation rather than a published line, which is the opposite of how the self-serve tools handle it.
The only Conductor pricing numbers that exist come from buyers, not from Conductor
Since Conductor publishes nothing, the closest thing to a public price is what procurement platforms observe across the contracts they handle. The figures below are Vendr's, taken from its Conductor marketplace page, last updated February 2026 and drawn from what it describes as anonymized Conductor transactions in its dataset. Vendr does not publish how many contracts that covers, so treat these as directional rather than as a rate card.
| Reported by Vendr | Figure | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Average contract value | $49,510 a year | Vendr reports the same figure as what its median buyer pays |
| Observed range | $40,446 to $93,338 | The low and high ends Vendr publishes for its dataset |
| Typical band by scope | $30,000 to $150,000+ | Vendr's stated range across deployment sizes |
| Mid-market deployments | $40,000 to $70,000 | Vendr's band for mid-market teams |
| Enterprise deployments | Over $100,000 a year | Vendr's stated floor for enterprise scope |
Put that next to the published tools and the category splits in two. Semrush tops out at $549 a month, or $6,588 a year, on a card. Vendr's average Conductor contract of $49,510 is about seven and a half times that. Neither number is wrong, because they are not the same purchase: one is software you start using this afternoon, the other is a platform with an implementation, a named account manager and a procurement cycle attached. The mistake is shortlisting them against each other on features and then being surprised by the quote.
One practical note if you are budgeting. Enterprise SEO platforms in this bracket commonly carry implementation and professional services on top of the subscription in year one. We have not verified a Conductor-specific figure for that, so we are not printing one, but ask for it explicitly in the first call rather than assuming the contract value is the whole cost.
Conductor Essentials has no AI Search Credits, and Conductor sells itself on AI search
Conductor's homepage headline on 29 August 2026 is "Where Enterprises Go to Win AI Search", and it describes itself as the only unified platform for enterprise AEO. Its entry tier does not list AI Search Credits at all. That is the single most useful thing on the pricing page, and it is communicated by omission.
Essentials
None listed
No AI Search Credits appear on the tier. It is the only tier you can start without a sales call.
Growth
2,500 a year
The first tier where AI search visibility is actually included. Demo request only.
Enterprise
2,500+ a year
Stated as a floor rather than a number. Everything above it is negotiated.
This is not unique to Conductor and that is what makes it worth flagging. Semrush does the same thing: its entry SEO plan at $139 a month carries no AI search tracking of any kind, and the $60 step up to Starter buys AI visibility and no extra capacity at all. Across this category in 2026, AI search data is the upsell, not the baseline. If AI visibility is the reason you are shopping, price the tier that actually includes it and ignore the entry row entirely, on every vendor you shortlist.
The same logic applies in reverse. If you do not need AI search data yet, do not pay an enterprise platform for a module you will not open. Our answer engine optimization guide covers what actually moves citation rates on a page, most of which is on-page work rather than a monitoring subscription, and generative engine optimization covers the wider category.
Conductor pricing against the tools that will just tell you the number
Everything in this table except Conductor has a price you can read without talking to anyone. That difference is itself a buying criterion, because a quote-only vendor costs you a procurement cycle before you learn whether it is affordable.
| Tool | Entry price | Keywords at entry | Buy it when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Conductor Essentials | Not published, trial only | 500 across 3 sites | Procurement requires an enterprise vendor and governance is the actual requirement |
| Semrush SEO | $139 a month | 500 across 5 sites | You want one login covering organic, ads, content and PR, today, on a card |
| Ahrefs Lite | $129 a month | 750, weekly updates | Backlink data is the reason you are buying anything at all |
| Moz Pro Standard | $99 a month | Weekly rank checks | Domain Authority is the metric your client reports are already built on |
| Seomake | $49 a month | No rank tracking at all | The audit list already exists and nobody is working through it |
Conductor read 29 August 2026. Semrush read 25 August 2026 in its US dollar rendering. Ahrefs read 24 August 2026. Moz read 9 August 2026.
Full ladders for the published tools sit on Semrush pricing and Ahrefs pricing, and SEO software pricing compared puts them on one grid with the cost per tracked keyword worked out. If the shortlist is still open, SEO PowerSuite vs Semrush and every other rival compared covers the tools people weigh against each other most often.
Conductor is not the SEO suite it was, and the modules say so
If your mental model of Conductor is an enterprise organic marketing platform, it is out of date. The 2026 product is organized around four modules and the messaging is entirely about AI search. This matters for pricing because you will be quoted for a platform, and the platform now assumes AEO is the job.
Conductor Intelligence
AI and search visibility tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude and traditional search results.
Conductor Creator
Content generation and optimization. This is the module the Writing Assistant draft quota meters.
Conductor Monitoring
Continuous technical site health monitoring, positioned around whether AI bots can crawl the site.
Conductor AgentStack
LLM apps, developer tools and prepackaged agents for AEO workflows. The newest of the four.
There is one piece of history the pricing conversation keeps running into. Conductor acquired Searchmetrics in a deal announced on 7 February 2023 and absorbed it completely: searchmetrics.com redirects to conductor.com, and as of 29 August 2026 the Conductor homepage does not mention Searchmetrics anywhere at all. If you are here because a Searchmetrics renewal turned into a Conductor quote, the migration is covered properly on Searchmetrics pricing and alternatives, and the full timeline of how the brand disappeared is in what happened to Searchmetrics.
We are not a Conductor replacement, and it would be easy to pretend otherwise
Seomake is a $49 a month audit tool. Conductor is a quote-only enterprise platform with a reported average contract near $49,510. Anyone telling you those are alternatives is selling something. We carry no link index, no keyword database, no rank tracker and no AI citation monitoring, so nothing here replaces the reason a company signs a Conductor contract.
What we do is the step that platforms in every price bracket leave undone. They tell you the page is weak. Seomake reads the live page against the keyword it should rank for and writes the corrected title tag, meta description, heading outline, intro and the keyword gaps, as copy you can paste. The reason most enterprise SEO subscriptions underperform is not that the data was wrong. It is that the findings list grew faster than anyone could act on it, and a report nobody works through is an expensive PDF.
So the honest pairing is this. If procurement needs an enterprise vendor with governance, reporting controls and a support contract, buy the platform. Then use something cheap to actually write the fixes it surfaces. Our own ladder is $49, $149 and $499 a month and is published on our pricing page, where you can read it without a call.
Conductor SEO pricing, question by question
How much does Conductor SEO cost?
Conductor publishes no price. Its pricing page lists three tiers, Essentials, Growth and Enterprise, with detailed quotas and not one dollar figure, read on 29 August 2026. The only public numbers come from buyer datasets: Vendr reports an average Conductor contract of $49,510 a year, with a range of $40,446 to $93,338.
Does Conductor publish its pricing?
It publishes tiers but not prices. You get exact quotas on every line, 500 tracked keywords on Essentials, 5,000 on Growth, 60,000+ on Enterprise, and the price column is missing on all three. Two of the three tiers do not even have a self-serve path: Growth is Request a Demo and Enterprise is Contact Sales.
What are the Conductor SEO platform tiers?
Three: Essentials for smaller teams establishing core AEO and SEO reporting, Growth for scaling teams automating workflows, and Enterprise for global cross-functional organizations needing governance and scale. Capacity roughly tenfolds at each step, from 1,000 pages analyzed on Essentials to 25,000 on Growth to 125,000+ on Enterprise.
Is there a free trial of Conductor?
Yes, but only on the entry tier. Essentials carries a Try for Free button. Growth and Enterprise do not: they route to a demo request and a sales conversation. Conductor also offers a standalone free AI Visibility Analysis, which is a lead tool rather than access to the platform.
What is included in Conductor Essentials?
Read off the pricing page on 29 August 2026: 60 Writing Assistant drafts a year, 1,000 pages analyzed, 500 tracked keywords, 3 tracked websites, 5 tracked competitors and 100,000 pages monitored. What is not on that list matters more than what is, because Essentials shows no AI Search Credits at all.
Does Conductor track AI search visibility?
On the paid tiers above entry, yes. AI Search Credits appear on Growth at 2,500 a year and on Enterprise at 2,500+, and Conductor Intelligence tracks visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Claude. The Essentials tier lists no AI Search Credits, so the cheapest way into the self-described number one enterprise AEO platform excludes the AEO data.
Is Conductor the same as Searchmetrics?
No, but it absorbed it. Conductor acquired Searchmetrics in a deal announced on 7 February 2023, folded the product in, and searchmetrics.com now redirects to conductor.com. As of 29 August 2026 the Conductor homepage does not mention Searchmetrics anywhere, so the brand is gone rather than maintained as a line.
What is Conductor AgentStack?
It is Conductor's agentic layer: LLM apps, developer tools and prepackaged agents aimed at AEO workflows, sold alongside Intelligence, Creator and Monitoring. It reflects the 2026 repositioning, where Conductor describes itself as the only unified platform for enterprise AEO rather than as an SEO suite.
How does Conductor compare to Semrush on price?
They are not in the same bracket. Semrush publishes $139 to $549 a month, so $1,668 to $6,588 a year on a card. Vendr's reported average Conductor contract of $49,510 is roughly seven and a half times the top published Semrush plan, and Conductor will not quote it without a sales call.
Is Conductor worth it for a mid-market team?
It depends on whether you are buying data or governance. Vendr puts mid-market Conductor deployments at $40,000 to $70,000 a year. Essentials tracks 500 keywords across 3 websites, which is the same keyword count Semrush sells at $139 a month. Above a certain team size you are paying for onboarding, reporting governance and a support contract.
Does Conductor have annual or monthly billing?
Conductor states neither on its pricing page. There is no billing frequency, no contract length and no cancellation term published anywhere on it, which is consistent with a quote-only enterprise motion. Assume an annual or multi-year agreement negotiated per account rather than a card subscription you can stop next month.
Whatever the quote comes back at, the fixes still need writing
Paste a URL and the keyword it should rank for. Seomake reads the live page, scores what is costing you the ranking, and writes the corrected title, meta and headings. No account, no card, no credits.
We do not train on your content and we do not sell your data. Read the security page.
