WooRank vs Semrush pricing, plan limits and site audit features compared

WooRank Pro is $89.99 a month and Semrush Pro is $139.95, so WooRank is the cheaper way to audit one website. Add a second site and the order reverses: Semrush Pro covers 5 sites and 500 keywords for less than WooRank Premium at $199.99. And the $19.99 WooRank Lite plan most comparison sites still quote is no longer on WooRank's plan list.

02 / The short answer

WooRank vs Semrush in four sentences

WooRank is an audit and reporting tool: it reviews pages and sites, explains the problems in plain language, and turns the result into a PDF you can send a client. Semrush is a full research suite: keyword database, backlink index, rank tracking, competitor traffic, and a site audit that crawls 40 times more pages on its entry plan. For one website where the audit is the whole job, WooRank Pro at $89.99 is the cheaper, simpler buy. For anything past one site, or any work that starts with keyword research, Semrush Pro at $139.95 gives far more for the money.

Both stop at the same point. They tell you the title is too long, the meta description is missing and the headings do not match the query, and then the rewriting is yours. If a backlog of pages waiting to be corrected is what is actually costing you traffic, that is a separate purchase, and it is the one we sell.

03 / Checked at source

The WooRank plan every comparison quotes is not on WooRank's plan list

Search for woorank vs semrush and page one is a Search Atlas blog post from 2025 followed by software-directory templates: Cuspera, TrustRadius, Software Advice, Glimpse, 6sense, CB Insights, G2. The ones that give prices say WooRank starts at $19.99 a month on Lite and Semrush at $139.94.

We requested woorank.com/en/p/pricing from a United States connection on 25 September 2026 and read the plan data the page is built from. It holds four plans: Pro monthly at $89.99, Pro yearly at $639, Premium monthly at $199.99 and Premium yearly at $1,599. There is no Lite plan object at all. A leftover Lite description still sits in WooRank's translation file, which is probably why the old price keeps getting repeated, but the page's own meta description now reads "Pro, Premium or need more users?". So a buyer budgeting from page one is working from an entry price that is less than a quarter of the real one.

WooRank's page also disagrees with itself in two places, which matters if you are sizing a plan. Premium's crawl allowance is listed as 10,000 pages in the headline features and 10,500 in the full details. Pro's page review API allowance is 500 calls in one list and 2,500 a month in the other. We quote both, because we cannot tell you which one the account will enforce. Semrush is at $139.95, not $139.94, on its own knowledge base article for the SEO Toolkit plans.

Semrush adds seats from $45 a month each. WooRank does not publish a per-seat price; its page sends anyone who needs more users to sales. The deeper cost breakdown for each vendor is on our Semrush pricing page and, for WooRank against the other audit-report tools, in WooRank vs SEOptimer pricing.

05 / Price the workload, not the plan

Which one is cheaper flips at the second website

Headline prices answer the wrong question. What decides the bill is how many sites you look after and whether a branded report is part of what you sell. Four common shapes, priced from the published rates above.

Monthly cost of WooRank and Semrush for four common workloads, with the cheaper option named
Your situation WooRank per month Semrush per month Cheaper, and why
One site, audit and fix list only Pro $89.99, or $53.25 billed yearly Pro $139.95 WooRank. It is $49.96 a month cheaper for the job, and $639 covers a full year if you pay up front.
Five sites, keyword tracking Premium $199.99 (5 projects, 250 keywords) Pro $139.95 (5 sites, 500 keywords) Semrush. $60 a month less for twice the keywords and a much larger crawl.
Agency sending branded audit PDFs Premium $199.99, white label included Pro $139.95, with 3 scheduled PDF reports and no white label listed on the plan WooRank, if the branded PDF is the deliverable you sell.
Fifteen client sites Enterprise, priced by sales Guru $249.95 Semrush, because it publishes a price for that size and WooRank does not.

The crawl limit is the number most buyers skip, and it is the one that bites. WooRank Pro's Site Crawl covers 2,500 pages. A small shop with a blog and filtered category URLs can pass that without anyone noticing, and the audit then describes part of the site. Semrush Pro allows 100,000 pages a month across its 5 projects, so the same shop could be recrawled every week with room to spare.

The report is where WooRank earns its price. Its reviews are written for people who are not SEO specialists, every paid plan exports unlimited PDFs, and Premium puts your agency's branding on them. Semrush can schedule 3 PDF reports on any tier, and it is built for someone who already reads SEO data for a living. If the audit document is the thing you invoice for, that difference is worth more than the crawl limit.

06 / Which one to put on the card

When to buy WooRank, and when Semrush is the right call

Buy WooRank if

  • You look after one website and the audit is the whole job.
  • You sell audits to prospects and need white-label PDFs without an add-on.
  • You want quick page reviews from a Chrome or Firefox extension while you browse.
  • The people reading the report are business owners, not SEO specialists.
  • You want a lead generation tool bundled into the same subscription.

Buy Semrush if

  • You manage two or more sites. Pro carries 5 for $139.95.
  • Your work starts with keyword research, not with an audit.
  • You need backlink data or competitor traffic estimates.
  • Your site has more than 2,500 URLs, or you want to recrawl it every week.
  • You track more than 250 keywords, or want a published price at 15 or 40 sites.

If Semrush is on the list mainly because it is the name everyone knows, our Semrush alternatives comparison prices the cheaper suites against it. If you are leaning toward an audit tool and WooRank is only one of several, tools like WooRank puts Seobility, SEOptimer and SE Ranking next to it. And if SE Ranking is your third option, WooRank vs SE Ranking pricing works through that pair for small agencies.

07 / Where we fit

What SEOMake does instead, and what it will not do

SEOMake is not a third option in this comparison for most of what WooRank and Semrush sell. It crawls a whole site up to the page limit of your plan and tracks rankings, but it has no backlink index, no browser extension and no API, and it does not produce white-label PDF reports. If any of those is the reason you are shopping, buy WooRank or Semrush.

What it does is the step both of them hand back to you. Paste a live URL and the keyword the page should rank for. SEOMake reads the page's on-page signals, scores it, lists every issue with the evidence it found, and then writes the correction: a title under 60 characters with the keyword first, a meta description at the length Google actually displays, a heading outline built around the query, an opening paragraph, and the subtopics the page is missing. Paid plans add a 400 to 700 word draft that follows that outline.

That makes it closest to WooRank's single-page review, with the difference that the output is the fixed copy rather than a list. Starter is $49 a month or $490 a year, with unlimited page audits and 20 drafts a month, which is less than WooRank Pro. Growth is $149 with 100 drafts and Agency is $499 with 500. Details are on the pricing page, and a full worked example of the output is on the SEO audit tool page.

08 / Using both

How to pair an audit tool with a page fixer without paying twice

1

Let the audit find the pages

Run the WooRank Site Crawl or Semrush Site Audit and sort by the pages that matter commercially: service pages, product pages, the top landing pages in Search Console.

2

Fix those pages, one URL at a time

Put each URL and its target keyword through SEOMake and take the rewritten title, meta description, outline and intro. Nothing to connect and no Search Console access to request.

3

Re-run the audit and send the report

Publish, recrawl, and let the audit tool's PDF show the client the score going up. The report proves the work, the fixer does the work.

Priced that way, WooRank Pro at $89.99 plus SEOMake Starter at $49 is $138.99 a month, a cent under Semrush Pro on its own, and it covers both the report and the rewriting for a single site. For the wider shortlist of suites, see the SEO tools comparison.

09 / Asked and answered

WooRank vs Semrush, question by question

Is WooRank better than Semrush?

WooRank is better for one job: fast, readable page and site audits you can hand to a client as a PDF, from $89.99 a month. Semrush is better at everything around the audit, including keyword research, backlinks, rank tracking and a crawl 40 times larger on its entry plan. Pick WooRank for audit reporting, Semrush for full SEO research.

How much does WooRank cost per month?

WooRank Pro is $89.99 a month or $639 a year, which works out to $53.25 a month. Premium is $199.99 a month or $1,599 a year ($133.25 a month). Enterprise is priced by the sales team. Those are the US dollar prices in WooRank's own plan data on 25 September 2026.

Does WooRank still have a Lite plan?

Not one you can buy. On our 25 September 2026 read, WooRank's plan list contained only Pro and Premium, monthly and yearly, and the page description reads "Pro, Premium or need more users?". Most comparison sites still list Lite at $19.99 as the entry point, so budget from $89.99 instead.

How much does Semrush cost compared to WooRank?

Semrush Pro is $139.95 a month, which is $49.96 more than WooRank Pro at $89.99. At the next step the order flips: Semrush Pro covers 5 sites and 500 keywords, while WooRank needs Premium at $199.99 for 5 projects and 250 keywords. Past one website, Semrush is usually the cheaper purchase.

Is WooRank good for SEO agencies?

For audit-led agencies, yes. Premium includes unlimited white-label PDF reports and a LeadGen tool that turns site reviews into prospect leads, which is how many small agencies sell. It is thinner for delivery work: 250 tracked keywords across 5 projects is small once you have several retainer clients.

Which is better for a site audit, WooRank or Semrush?

For a single page or a small site, WooRank reads more clearly and its instant review works from a browser extension. For a site with thousands of URLs, Semrush wins on capacity: Pro crawls 100,000 pages a month against 2,500 on WooRank Pro. Both report the problems; neither writes the corrected page for you.

Does WooRank do keyword research like Semrush?

Only lightly. WooRank tracks 50 keywords on Pro and 250 on Premium and compares you against 3 competitors per project. Semrush sells a full keyword database, keyword metric updates, backlink data and competitor traffic estimates. If keyword research is the main reason for the purchase, WooRank is the wrong tool.

How does WooRank compare with Moz Pro?

Moz Pro Standard is $99 a month for 3 sites, 300 keywords and 400,000 crawled pages, so it sits between WooRank Pro and Premium on price with far more crawl capacity. WooRank keeps the edge on client-ready PDF reports and white label. Moz keeps Domain Authority, which many agencies already report on.

Can WooRank or Semrush fix the problems they find?

No. Both are diagnostic tools. They flag a long title, a missing meta description or a thin heading structure and hand the rewrite back to you. SEOMake does that step: it audits one URL against its keyword and writes the corrected title, meta description, headings and intro, from $49 a month.

WooRank prices and limits were read from the plan data and feature text on woorank.com/en/p/pricing on 25 September 2026, requested from a United States connection. Semrush prices and limits come from semrush.com/kb/1547-seo-toolkit-pricing-and-plans on the same day; its seat and Lead Generation prices come from its pricing page, read 16 September 2026. Moz Pro figures are from moz.com/products/pro/pricing, read 22 September 2026. Vendor prices change without notice. If the checkout shows something different, trust the checkout.

10 / Run it

Both of them tell you what is wrong with the page. This one writes what should be there instead.

Paste a URL and the keyword it should rank for. SEOMake scores the page, shows the evidence for every issue, and writes the corrected title, meta description and headings. No account, no card.
